We are an historical Freemasonian Obedience

Our grand lodge is a Freemasonian obedience and the oldest and most important in the practice of traditional, initiatives and spiritistic Freemasonry. It is the continuation of the first lodges founded in 1728.

We work according to the old and accepted Scottish rite, the most practiced Freemasonry rite in the world.

We pay respect for the authentic Freemason tradition and put the text of the old obligations, as the Basic Law of Universal Freemasonry, at the top of our own constitutions.

Our grand lodge is also the heiress of the Scottish lodges, which were founded in the eighteenth century and is the guardian of the symbolic Freemasonry tradition: apprentice, journeyman and masters and our motto is: freedom - equality - fraternity.

The old traditional obligations of universal Freemasonry will be respected:
We work for the honor of the great architect of the universe,
In the presence of the three large lights of Freemasonry,
the angle, the circle and the book of the Holy Law.

In accordance with the "old duties" of the cathedral builders of the Middle Ages, our grand lodge as the main goal has the perfection of humanity. It demands tolerance from everyone and does not interfere in controversy that affect political or religious questions. It is an alliance of free people of all origin, nationalities and beliefs. Furthermore, it is the initiation that enables everyone to transform themselves and find access to their own inner life, to what is spirit and freedom, knowledge and love in him.

The principles of Freemasonry
We strictly adhere to the following basic principles:
• The call of the great architect of the universe,
• The presence of the three large lights in the box: the book of the Holy Law, which is opened with the angle and the circle,
• exclusive sovereignty over symbolic ranks,
• Independence from every Freemasonry structure of high degrees,
• Non-mixture in ritual work,
• Non-interference in political or religious controversy,
• The progressive and spiritual nature of the initiation process.

As a result, we work in accordance with the basic principles of traditional Freemasonry.

Our grand lodge, which is committed to respect for the traditions of Freemasonry, invites its members to the conscientious and serious practice of the ritual and the symbolism in order to gain access to the initiatives of the order.

Combined with the foundation of the fraternity, it reaffirms the primacy of the clergyman before the temporal.

Freemasonry: an evolution of the mind
Above all, becoming a Freemason means achieving an intellectual, moral and spiritual survey, and this in complete freedom of political or religious opinion. It is the accession to an order that opens the doors for self -discovery and at the same time strives for your knowledge and consciousness. It is about accepting the principles of tradition, humanism and spirituality.

As soon as you decide to knock on the door of a box, an initiation process will be initiated that will accompany you during your Freemasonry experience. They embark on a long way that is filled with much knowledge and consists of humility and fraternity.

Freemasonry is a practice that requires spiritual investments to gain access to higher layers of thinking. It teaches them to have full control over their free will and their freedom of thought without any influence.

In order to become a member of the Grand Lodge of France, several steps have to be followed:

Three members of their potential future lodges will come to you to conduct three interviews with you, which we call "studies". After reading this of the whole lodge, you will be invited to a "passage under the eyes", where the brothers will ask you additional questions. If your passage under the banner receives a positive voice, you will be called for your initiation, which gives you the status of an apprentice.
